Slangmontering med termostat
DEFA nummerserie 420-423 är en undergrupp till 400-serien.

DEFA 420-421-422-423 skiljer sig på två väsentliga punkter från de andra värmarna i 400-serien: Värmeelementet är i sin helhet omgivet av en vattenkammare. Uppvärmningstemperaturen begränsas av en inbyggd termostat som reglerar vattentemperaturen och kopplar bort strömtillförseln till elementet om vattnet vid värmarens in-/utlopp har uppnått en temperatur på 80ºC. Termostaten kopplar åter in vid 70ºC.

Läs bifogad monteringsanvisning till aktuellt fordon noga. Motorvärmaren ska ENDAST monteras på fordon angivna i monteringsanvisningen.

Användning

DEFA motorvärmare är dimensionerade för ?normalt användning?. Normal användning definieras som: 3 inkopplingar x 3 timmar på ett dygn. Baserat på 150 dagar (ca 5 månader) på ett år. Om motorvärmaren används i utryckningsfordon, nödströmsgeneratorer eller där motorvärmare alltid/aldrig är inkopplad ska följande årlig service utföras: Kontrollera motorvärmarens funktion och byt eventuellt ut motorvärmaren om den är defekt (Täcks inte av garanti).

Är motorvärmaren ansluten till pulsstyrt uttag där strömmen kopplas till och från flera gånger i timmen reduceras livslängden drastiskt. Därför ska motorvärmare ej användas i dessa uttag och täcks ej av garantin.
