Fan unit SUNDSTRÖM
SR 500 EX
Battery-powered fan unit that is explosion-proof and specially intended for use in explosive atmospheres. Included together with filters and an approved face piece in Sundström's fan-assisted breathing protection system. Can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where such is recommended. This applies in particular to heavy, hot or long-term work. The fan is equipped with a filter and the filtered air is fed via a breathing tube to the face part. The overpressure that then forms prevents the penetration of surrounding contaminants. Start, stop and selection of operating mode are managed with the same operating button. Display with symbols for different operating conditions. Alarm with vibrations and sound/light signals in case of obstructions in the air flow. Automatic control of air flow with compensation for air pressure and temperature. The enclosure protection of the electronics is approved according to IP67.
