Protective hood intended to be used together with battery-powered fan unit SR 500, SR 500 EX or SR 700 in Sundström's fan-assisted breathing protection system. The hood's breathing hose is connected to the filter-equipped fan. The positive pressure created in the hood prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the hood. The hood can also be used together with compressed air additive SR 507. This combination constitutes a breathing apparatus with continuous flow for connection to compressed air. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where such is recommended. This applies in particular to heavy, hot or long-term work. Protects the respiratory system and the head. Impact-resistant and chemical-resistant visor. Supplied air keeps the visor fog-free. Adjustable head position. Fixed, flexible breathing hose. Equipped with exhalation valve. Also protects the head and shoulders, has adjustable neck width and adjustable distance to the face.
