Complete protective helmet SR 580 with welding visor SR 584 which, together with the battery-powered fan SR 500 or SR 700 and approved filters, are part of Sundström's fan-assisted breathing protection system. Can also be used together with compressed air additive SR 507, this combination constitutes a breathing apparatus with continuous air flow for connection to compressed air. The combinations protect against harmful gases/particles, radiation and splashes during welding, cutting, grinding and similar work. The design makes them useful for work in narrow and hard-to-reach spaces. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where such is recommended. This applies in particular to heavy, hot or long-term work. Protective helmet with flip-up visor. Protects the breathing zone and the head. Adjustable head position. Replaceable flexible breathing hose that connects to the filter-equipped fan. Equipped with exhalation valve. Standard attachment for earmuffs. The positive pressure in the helmet's visor prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the breathing zone. The flip-up welding visor is delivered mounted on the helmet, with EN 10 welding glass and polycarbonate protective glass (dimensions 90x110 mm). Accessories in the form of automatic welding glasses, correction glasses, neck and chest protection and hose protection are available.
